|
Set
in the heart of the beautiful New Forest, Burley lies in a valley between
colourful heathlands and has many mature native trees. Once the haunt of
smugglers and witches, it is now typical of forest villages with ponies
and cattle free to roam its streets. There is a suggestion that dragons
once roamed here, but now visitors are welcomed and there are many places
to eat and drink and stay. There is much of interest to see.
Market Dates During bad weather, markets may close earlier than 3pm
1st February 1st March 6th April 3rd May 7th June 5th July 2nd August 6th September 4th October 1st November 6th December
